Self-directed Learning Platform | This year, we will continue to promote self-directed learning among students. Various electronic learning platforms, such as "Code Monkey" and "e-Reading Plan," will be encouraged for different subjects. Each subject will also use "Power Lesson 2" and "Microsoft 365" platforms for pre and post-class self-learning activities. |
Comprehensive Upgrade of Network Speed | With the rapid development of electronic learning in our school, the school network has been comprehensively upgraded to 1GB speed, providing a stable and high-quality campus network. |
Tablet Computers | To facilitate parents in purchasing suitable tablet computers for their children at the most favorable price for electronic learning, our school invites partner organizations of the electronic learning program to hold tablet computer sales exhibitions at the school every year. |
Quality Education Fund Tablet Borrowing Assistance Project | To alleviate the economic pressure on low-income families, our school uses the "Quality Education Fund Tablet Borrowing Assistance Project" to lend mobile computing devices to economically disadvantaged students to practice electronic learning. Qualified students can continue to apply for iPads. |
Online Collaboration Platform - Taishingbookmark | To integrate online learning materials for all subjects, our school has established an online collaboration platform - Taishingbookmark. By integrating online resources for various subjects, students only need to search for Taishingbookmark on Google to access and browse the links required for online learning for each subject. |
Smart TVs | To meet the needs of electronic learning in our school, interactive smart TVs have been installed in our school classrooms, providing teachers with an excellent teaching environment and facilitating teaching and learning activities for both teachers and students. In conjunction with smart TVs, different touch-based interactive game platforms such as Snowflake will be used this year to enhance student interest in learning. |
E-book Teaching | Our school has fully implemented e-book teaching, including Chinese, English, Mathematics, General Studies, STEM, etc. In class, teachers and students use different learning software apps, such as Aplus, Snowflake, Kahoot, Nearpod, Socrative, Class 123, etc. |
Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) | All students in our school are allowed to bring their own electronic devices for class. |
Electronic Learning School Support Program | Our school is a pilot school for the Education Bureau's "Electronic Learning School Support Program" (WIFI 100). Wi-Fi 6 high-speed wireless network covers the entire school, promoting the full implementation of electronic learning. |
Electronic Interactive Learning | Our school actively uses the Snowflake touch-based interactive game platform, allowing students to use electronic blackboards in class and enhancing their interest in learning. The newly introduced PowerLesson2 allows students to interact with teachers and classmates before, during, and after class, deepening learning focus. |
