Strategy

A.   The first strategy is to enhance learning efficiency through cross-curricular reading.

1. By making use of different facilities and reading incentive programs, we aim to cultivate and establish students' interest in reading and promote a reading culture.
2. Our library department head provides an electronic reading platform for students to use, which enables them to read books of different types.
3. Subject teachers share book recommendations during morning assemblies and display related books in the hallway as a thematic learning approach to encourage students to read.
4. Subject teachers also integrate reading materials into their lessons and use cross-curricular reading strategies to expand students' knowledge of language and other learning areas.

B.   The second strategy is to effectively use diverse strategies in teaching.

1. The classroom will be introduced with scenarios and concrete settings to stimulate students' learning interests
2. Interactive electronic teaching will be incorporated into the classroom.
3. Different electronic learning platforms will be offered by each subject to enable students to learn independently.
4. The "flipped classroom" learning mode will be adopted to encourage students to prepare for class in advance and cultivate self-learning habits.

C.    The third strategy is to promote autonomous learning in all aspects, enabling students to explore and construct knowledge actively.

1. We will teach students self-planning methods, enabling them to set reasonable goals or plan their learning.
2. We will encourage students to make use of the work-sharing platform for interactive communication and learning from each other.
3. In each subject's autonomous learning booklet, we will incorporate learning strategies such as "preview" and "note-taking", and establish different requirements and methods for note-taking in various learning stages.
4. We will strengthen the electronic learning portfolio program.
5. We will regularly organize parent sharing sessions to assist parents in understanding their children's strengths and weaknesses

D.    The fourth strategy is to strengthen students' language proficiency.

1. In some classes of core subjects, including Mathematics, General Studies, and STEM subjects from Primary 1 to 6, we will introduce English language instruction or incorporate English art vocabulary in coursework to further develop students' bilingual and trilingual abilities.

E.    The fifth strategy is to strengthen teachers' professional capabilities and pursue outstanding student performance.

1. Arrange for teachers to participate in school-based electronic training courses for various subjects.
2. Set aside common preparation time for teachers to discuss and apply different teaching strategies during joint lesson planning meetings.
3. Arrange for teachers to participate in exchange groups for professional communication.
4. Conduct regular classroom observations for teacher evaluation and improvement.
